The Help pages listed in the SEARCHING FOR INFORMATION section below do not reflect recent customizations we've made to the two NPS Voyager search pages (BASIC and GUIDED, formerly called BUILDER) and the QUICK LIMITS picklist (used by NPS for Library Locations) on the BASIC search page.
As we are upgrading to Voyager version 7 in the very near future, and that release will bring a complete revamping of the search interface (to make it more 'Google' - like), including completely new Help pages, we've decided not to allocate our limited resources to update the current Help pages.
While much of the Help content still applies, nomenclature of SEARCH TYPES has been changed and the contents of the QUICK LIMITS list has been modified considerably. As such, we direct you to the updated SEARCH TIPS that are provided directly on the NPS Voyager BASIC and GUIDED search pages.
